{wallpaper update}
i'm thrilled to report that my 3 rolls of wallpaper have arrived and i'm thrilled to pieces with the color of it. it's not a canary yellow as i prayed it would not be, it's a lovely mustard-y color, like goldenrod. for a color comparison, i've photographed it alongside the current issue of martha stewart weddings. notice their pure yellow font against the wallpaper so you can see what i mean. it's much more of a goldenrod than a canary.
it will look perfect with my white cabinetry and slate gray tiled floor in the kitchen. and if not, who cares because i have enough to hang it in my entry/main hallway instead since i have 10' ceilings in the hall and it's about 16' long and windowless so it may actually work better in the hall. hmmm.
anyway, i opened a roll so you could see the pattern in full view. a few of you wrote to me after this post and i've been meaning to write you back but i figured i'd go ahead and post my resource so you can go shop for beautiful wallpaper at huge discounts too.

The color is wonderful. I've seen it on walls so i know how beautiful the color is.
And, if anyone wants $800 of beige R & W paper - let me know. It's sitting in my basement.
