{loot bag}

i attended a big antiques and collectibles/flea market show today in brimfield, massachusetts called the brimfield show. it was a beautiful day, breezy, warm, sunny... here is my loot. it may not be as exciting as the loot from last year's show -- vintage suzanis and a pair of orange lacquered chairs -- my lil loot but works for me. i am thinking of doing something special with these yellow beads. they were $2 each so i only managed to buy 5 because the trim was $125 total. yeah i nearly died too. so i have to do a lot of projects with this stuff to justify the expense. maybe a necklace. or those beads tied to spoons. i can't get this image of spoon art by magie hollingworth (uk artist) out of my mind since i first laid eyes on these beauties. see? my other new trims will work nicely for pillowcases, throw pillows, and for the bottom of a curtain or shower curtain even. my thinking cap is on. :) so i will pack this loot in my luggage and save for august. any ideas for my yellow glass beads?

Ooo, you picked up some fun stuff!
I need to go nosing around again at flea markets—it's been too long. I think the next big one around here is at Springfield Ohio. Just 45 min. from my place!

Congrats on your new apt and blog!
