Strauss Innovation: Chevron Prints!
I nearly fell over when I walked into Strauss Innovation the other day on the Lister Meile nearby and saw chevron pillows! I mean, this is NOT a common pattern in Germany so I was surprised and delighted. They look very ethnic (ikat) and so they are jagged and not smooth -- which I like -- and so I grabbed two in gray/white. They also had beige/white but gray is my color so I scooped them up quickly. This pattern is much like the ones sold at Madeline Weinrib Atelier in New York -- I'm a huge fan of Madeline but cannot get any of her products in Germany...
The quality is great and the pattern looks beautiful in my living room against my white sofa. The pillow covers zip up so you can remove them and the best part is that you can buy the pillow cover with or without the insert. I have plenty of inserts since I rotate my pillows seasonally, so I bought the covers for only 6,95 Euros each ($9 USD) so they're a great budget find, too!
Lovely, huh!?

Seems as if you are having a very creative time. Spring energy, I call it and to me it definitely applies.
Your cushion looks great on your white sofa and the paintings by your friend are sooo lovely. Would love to own one of them but I guess I would have a hard time to decide which one to take.
Dear Holly, have a great day and good luck with your cleaning. Don't work too much though, the weather is too nice :)
Love,
