Last Minute Giveaway: Lust auf Wohnen

Hello everyone! I'm so happy to announce that me and my book, Lust auf Wohnen, are featured in a full page interview in the January issue of Wohn Idee magazine and I want to celebrate this along with celebrating the end of 2011 and the beginning of a new year. I'm very excited about seeing the positive reaction in Germany to my book and so I thought to sponsor my own contest and give away a brand new signed and dedicated copy to one haus maus reader!

For your chance to win one free copy of Lust auf Wohnen please do these things by December 31.
  • Comment on the Decorate Facebook page with the reason why you would like a copy of Lust auf Wohnen and if you have it already, why you would like another copy - who would you give it too, for instance.
  • Comment below on this blog (haus maus) with your first name and city/country.

We'd (my daughters and I) would love to win this...we homeschool and love getting stuff from other countries written in their language (my youngest daughter loves Germany)...we even have a letter project to learn about others and ask to see their written langauge and to have a magazine that shows home decorating would be an even bigger plus since we could keep it in the coffee table for all to see.We really hope to win this! We live in Virginia,USA.

I have the english version of the book, but would give the German version to a neighbour and lovely newfound friend who is into interiors but would also like tips and tricks to help us get it right more often then we seem to now!!!!

I always ask for German decorating magazines when he goes to Frankfurt without me. In fact, he has a copy of the list of German decorating magazines you put on your blog! I read both your blogs reqularly. It would be great to have a copy of the book.

The first because I was born in Bonn and grew up in Koeln...yes, one of the last American ex-pats...the second, because my husband and I have just bought a house in VT and, like you, I am about to begin the adventure of uprooting my life and trying something completely new!
