Saturday in Berlin

I thought I'd share some highlights from a day with Sandra Juto in Berlin on Saturday. Sandra has become a dear friend to me and I'm sure you'll see more photos on her blog this week from our little adventure, too. She is so lovely and talented, it's always a pleasure to be with her. Whenever I see the word 'bezirk' it just cracks me up! I know it only means 'regional' or 'area', but it ALWAYS makes me think 'crazy office' or 'crazy hospital'! That's the Denglish in me... =)

Sehr schöne Bilder von Berlin. Zwar nichts, was ich selber kenne, aber trotzdem wie man Berlin kennt. Bin auch immer wieder gerne dort!

Great photos of Mitte, Holly! There were a few places I recognized immediately, like Clärchens Ballhaus. I wonder if you recognize any of these sounds? http://www.smart-urban-stage.com/blog/future-of-the-city/sound-of-berlin/ I found this a pretty whimsical alternative portrait of the Hauptstadt :)
