R.S.V.P. - Berlin (and online)
I thought that since I live in Germany now and have learned my way around fairly well since relocating here last year... that it's time to give back! So I want to start featuring more of the "German" finds that I have discovered/am discovering along the way to benefit design-lovers/geeks like me who are interested in finding great stuff in this beautiful, though often hard to navigate, country.
When I say hard to navigate, it mostly is due to having very different products and discoveries to make which can often be time consuming and for some, frustrating even. Though I will talk about stuff in northern Germany more often than other parts of the country, I will post about online shops, bloggers, and other must-visit German sites and stores that I suggest checking out.
The first of many is R.S.V.P. in Berlin. This is a great artsy shop but also they have an online store and sha-wing! they accept visa/mastercard so we Americans are IN LIKE FLYNN!
I just ordered some kraft paper notebooks from Korea, a notebook from Portugal, and some other goodies shown in the photos above. I love kraft paper, it's been an obsession of mine for a few years and so when I see it I always stock up.

especially in Berlin there are a lot of little independent shops selling crafty goods, you have to visit "my" city and explore! For now, I'll suggest "Mamsell"(www.mamsellberlin.de), a very sweet shop selling Chocolates but also tableware, greeting cards, glassware and other cute stuff, and a piece of heaven for crafters called "Modulor"(www.modulor.de) where you can find a lot of papery goodness and everything else you need to get creative. And they have an online shop as well...

I just recently discovered the idee creativmarkt at a local mall. It is not an independent shop, but they have a wonderful selection of craft supplies.

I'll be in Berlin & Leipzig in the New Year and have been searching for things to see, do and buy on Haus Maus. Keep the tips coming, please! :)
