{Snowball Light}

I'm in love with my latest purchase, a silver snowball pendant for my bathroom. Doesn't it look so nice in this space? The second I saw it, I knew that it would be perfect here, and it really is! (Click on this image to enlarge it if you would like.) The best part is that it was a budget find! It was only 49, - Euro! The store I found it at in Hannover stocks much larger ones too for under 100,- and I hard such a hard time deciding whether I wanted it in my bath or a larger one for my living room but the bath won because my living room ceilings are a bit lower and it would have needed to be installed nearly flush against the ceiling (which would not look very nice). But if you have high ceilings, go for the larger snowball, it is magical - you will love it. Here are the details regarding the light in case you would like to order one. Manufacturer: Honsel Leuchten, Arnsberg, Germany. Purchased at: Lichtraum (on the Lister Meile near Sam Nook/Kiwi in Hannover) Item # 72946 Size: 30 cm Cost: 49,- Euro xo, Holly

Wow, I love it! It really goes well with the curtain and glams up the bath. It's also just what I was looking for. Can't wait till their online shop is up again. Thank you very much for the tip. Have a fun weekend :-)

We have a silvery shade at home and we found that by using a 'full-spectrum' bulb(I don't mean a compact flourescent)it made the whole thing look even more silvery at night. I absolutely love it Holly - great find!

I found a table lamp similar to your pendant light while I was "out" shopping.

Hello!

I absolutely love this light. I am thinking I would like to use it in my living room, but I want to make sure it is bright enough. How many bulbs does yours use and what watt? I think I would get something a little larger.

I am an American who recently moved to Oslo with my fiance. I find your blogs very interesting and comforting!

Thanks,
Cassandra

I love the light fixture. I've been trying to find something to replace a heavy plain brass chandelier and this would be darling. I'm going to try the other poster's source for the shower curtain. Are the long rods at the right angle to the curtain towel warmers?
